Privacy notice

What we collect

• Briefing subscribers: your email address, when and where you subscribed, and the wording you agreed to.
• Network applicants and members: the details you give us (name, email, organization, role, location, links, application statement) and a securely hashed password. We never store passwords in plain text.
• Inquiries and submissions: what you send through our forms.
• Security records: to limit abuse we keep a one-way hash of your network address for up to 24 hours. We do not store the address itself.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
• We don't sell or rent personal data.
• Member emails are never shown in the member directory, and profiles are hidden from the directory unless the member chooses otherwise.

How we use it

To send the Briefing you asked for, review applications, run the network, answer inquiries and keep the service secure. DSI staff are notified of new submissions by email.

Cookies

One essential cookie keeps you signed in. It is not used for tracking. Fonts load from Google Fonts.

Your choices

Unsubscribe at any time on the unsubscribe page. Members can edit their profile and visibility in their dashboard. To access, correct or delete your data, contact us and choose "Privacy request".

Where it's stored

On Cloudflare's infrastructure. Access is limited to DSI staff with a need to see it.
